We had our Ward Easter Egg Hunt put on by the Primary. We ended with a fun egg hunt in the field at the church. The boys had a complete blast!!! It was their first hunt. Ezra loved it to the point he had a melt down when all the eggs were gone and it was time to go home.
We also decorated spring themed cookies and got to eat them. Ezra started eating his before I even reached across the table to get the frosting! Benny was patient and waited to decorate his cookie before munching on.

The kids got to color pictures, too. They got to use markers, and that was a real treat for the boys! They hardly get to use markers (even though we have containers full of them).
The primary president started off the activity with a spiritual thought and game. The kids each got to pick a picture out of a folder and place it either on the "Not Easter" board, or the "Easter Board." Basically, anything related to the real Easter story got put on the "Easter: board. Eggs, bunnies and jelly bean pictures got put in the "not" board. All the kids had a great time doing that. We have a great primary presidency!
The boys got to hang out with their best buddy, Braden. We love Braden's family.
And on that note, we love our new ward, and our new home in Florida. We love our new friends and we really love the weather. And, I really love the fact that I know that I have a Savior that came to earth and died for me. But he lives! He was resurrected and He is the way we will all get to return to our Father in heaven and live with Them again someday. I love that I have the knowledge and the opportunity to teach that to my children. Happy Easter Season!

Ok. I was seriously going to get upset that I knew nothing of a Ward Easter Egg Hunt, but Jack is not in Primary so that is ok! :) I am glad the boys had fun! And what a great lesson to teach the kids.
Fun!
